Mission Statement

 The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize the POW-MIA issue: To educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners of War-Missing In Action.  We are also committed to helping American Veterans from all wars.  

Membership Expectations

You do not have to be a Veteran to join Rolling Thunder®. We are not a motorcycle club and you do not need to have a motorcycle to join. Members must be willing to help fight the prisoner of war missing in action issue, which still exists. To help protect future veterans from becoming POW-MIA's and to help veterans in need from all wars. Every member must abide by the constitution and by-laws of Rolling Thunder®, Inc.


Rolling Thunder®, Inc. relies on volunteers to donate their time to keep it going. If you cannot volunteer your time and attend meetings, please do not sign up for membership in our organization. We thank you for considering membership, but if you cannot donate your time to our issues, we cannot accept you as a member. However, you may attend meetings and events as a non-member. (Above per National)


Applications must be picked up at a Membership Meeting. You must be 18 years old or older to join. Yearly dues are $40. Veterans need a copy of their DD-214 if not active duty. 


New members must attend three (3) meetings and/or events within 120 days. Three meetings and three events are required yearly to maintain a member in good standing. You must abide by the National Constitution and By-Laws and be loyal in thought, word, and deed to the POW/MIA issue and to Rolling Thunder®, Inc.
